Wednesday, August 12th, 2009A (mostly) raw dump of photos is up at my Gallery site.
Much cleanup is needed.
I hope this doesn’t take nine months.
Wednesday, August 12th, 2009We gotta get out of this place, if it’s the last… wait, huh?
Wednesday, August 12th, 2009This sign is located in the Miniature Museum of Taiwan. Next to it is a ladder that leads up into the ceiling (the museum is located in the basement of an office building). I suspect it’s there in case the miniature witches come to life.
After escaping to the ground floor, we discovered why the temples we visited earlier in the day had deep channels dug around the buildings and footpaths.
Because caucasians are just too damn tall
Wednesday, August 12th, 2009First awesome find. The Miniatures Museum of Taiwan is an obsessive collections of dolls, action figures and scenes of all scales < life size. I’ll upload the full set of pictures to my Gallery site (stay tuned for a link), but unfortunately with a consumer point-and-shoot, the results are less than stunning. I might return with some other friends of ours when they arrive in Taipei.
Attention to detail and variety of the scenes is spectacular. And what miniature tour is complete without some Godzilla-related goodness?
